On April 9, 2007, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS). Congress authorized this interim final rule (IFR) under Section 550 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2007, directing the Department to identify, assess, and ensure effective security at high-risk chemical facilities. To that end, the Department will require these facilities register and complete an online Top Screen questionnaire. Based on these Top Screens, any covered facility will be required to conduct a security vulnerability assessment (SVA) and then develop and implement a site security plan (SSP), that meets the Risk Based Performance Standards (RBPS).

Sabre Group has assembled a team of experts to assist companies in complying with all requirements outlined above. All team members have completed DHS authorized user training for Chemical-Terrorism Vulnerability Information (CVI).

Our team leaders gained their vast experience from years of work providing Red Team Operations for the NRC and the NEI, as well as consulting services for over twenty commercial nuclear sites in the United States.
Our teams are ready to assist you in any of the following areas:

• Top Screen questionnaires

• VA’s (Vulnerability Assessments)

• SSP’s (Site Security Plans)

• Red Team Operations
